In 2019, building on generations of organizing in front-line communities and in collaboration the MLK Jr. Coalition, Seattle Womxn Marching Forward is organizing a weekend of marching, rallying, workshopping, and healing, to help us all renew and plug in to the resistance.

Our 2019 theme is: BUILDING POWER

  • Sat. Jan. 19th:  We will rally + march to a central location for programming that connects, educates, and heals
  • Sun. Jan. 20th:  Hubs around the region will host deeper workshops, trainings, and community-specific events
  • Mon. Jan 21st:  MLK Jr. Coalition will lead the 37th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s celebration, with workshops, opportunity fair, a rally, and march.

Per our mission, the Seattle Womxn Marching Forward team is committed to supporting the organizations in Seattle that have been doing this work for years – pursuing equality, ensuring civil rights, combating poverty, educating children and adults, supporting immigrants, and providing affordable health care.
